Year 5 Making New Materials : Experiment

Rafflesia International School Puchong, Year 5 students engaging in hands-on science activities investigating materials they can find in their own kitchen. In one lesson they observed, how long does it take to melt ice in different places in our school. During the lesson the children found out that sunny places melt the ice faster, because the sun is a source of heat. 

The learning took place in an interesting, funny and activating way with materials the students encounter daily.
