IPC Exit Point Sharing sessions.

Brimming with enthusiasm, our Primary learners at Rafflesia International School Kajang, from Early Years to Year 6 conducted presentations on a variety of topics during our IPC Exit Point Sharing sessions. Utilising a range of learning platforms to present their work, our creative and tech-savvy students managed to captivate and engage with their online audience.

Collaboration, active learning, sophisticated literacy skills, a global consciousness – these are the distinctive features of the Rafflesia educational experience. You can find out more by attending our Online Open Day on Saturday 7th November, where there will be Online English and Science Workshops for children to enjoy too!

Learning from Home with a Digital Whiteboard

Despite the CMCO, our Rafflesia International School Puchong students learned to differentiate composite functions involving trigonometry and natural logarithms as part of their Additional Mathematics class from home. With access to a digital whiteboard at home, our students can engage in our interactive lessons remotely.

Coffee Mornings with Our Parents

We at Rafflesia believe a strong partnership with parents will make a significant difference in our children’s education. As partners, we share the responsibilities for our children’s success. Here we are during one of our Coffee Mornings at Rafflesia International School Puchong.

School Closure

Following the Government announcement of a Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Selangor, Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur, our schools will closed from Wednesday 14th October until Tuesday 27th October.

Even before the announcement, we have been preparing carefully for the possible closure of schools. As with the previous school closure, we have been working with our teachers to ensure that our students can continue to follow the curriculum plans, be provided with substantial work from our teachers and receive daily feedback about their work.

Online learning platforms will be available from Wednesday 14th October.  Online lessons will be conducted using Google Meet and Quick Schools.

Planting Workshop | A Practical Lesson on Plants

Our Primary students at Rafflesia International School Kajang participated in a planting workshop to learn about the basics of planting: watering, soil, potting, photosynthesis and more!

With an emphasis on scientific investigation, guided research and fluent literacy skills, the delivery of IPC at Rafflesia enables deeply enriching learning experiences. If you would like to learn more about how we provide the best conditions for learning growth, there will be STEM workshops for children at our Open Day on Saturday, 24th October. On the same day, there will be a workshop for parents about how strategies to support your child’s learning process. Contact our Admissions Team to register!

STEM at Sekolah Menengah Rafflesia Puchong

To prepare our students for the challenges that await them in the future, we need to develop their capabilities in STEM to levels far beyond what was considered acceptable in the past. Here are our Form 1R & Form 1W students enjoying their STEM activities, getting first-hand lessons through fun and engaging simulations of real-life situations.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival celebration at Rafflesia International School Kajang has been a fun one. Our students enjoyed a ‘Mooncake pot-luck’ and participated in a performance programme in the school Lecture Theatre which was beautifully adorned with festive decorations. With social distancing in place, we were entertained by some lively and highly engaging performances that helped us to appreciate the value of family unity. We would like to wish everyone a happy and safe time with your families.
